WTO Riots that spilled over to neighborhoods in the evenings. This is the Capitol Hill District. This scene took place one block from my (then) apt. Minutes after I took these shots, the street got gassed (repeatedly) and we could smell it in our apt, which was on the third floor. Several nights of this. Never experienced anything like it.

I sure do love the smell of tear gas in the evening.
